A matchmaking conference on infrastructure investment and development under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) framework took place in Beijing on February 17 afternoon. A promotion meeting of the 2023 Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE) was held simultaneously.

Diplomats from over 10 embassies of RCEP members in China, representatives from international chambers of commerce in China, and Hunan's provincial leaders, industry-leading enterprise representatives and representatives of enterprises in the field of infrastructure construction attended the event. 

Kang Zhenlin, vice mayor of Changsha and chairman of the Changsha Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Li Shun, vice chairman of the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee and director of the Changsha Convention and Exhibition Office also attended.

At the event, the details of the 2023 CICEE were introduced in an all-around way, demonstrating the confidence and determination of CICEE to deeply integrate into the RCEP, speed up to embrace international economic and trade cooperation, and promote the coordinated development of the construction machinery industry and the RCEP.

At the meeting, the CICEE organizing committee invited RCEP members to participate in the exhibition, and signed participation agreements with four of the global top 50 construction machinery manufacturers -- Zoomlion, Herrenknecht, Shantui, and Lovol.
