Hunan's foreign trade market booms in the new year. Enterprises around the province are operating at full capacity and striving to win orders. An explosion of growth has been seen, with some foreign trade orders being scheduled to the end of this year.
Aiming at stabilizing and improving quality of foreign trade, the Hunan Department of Commerce launched a campaign to encourage and guide the foreign trade companies across the province to strive for more orders and expanding their business.
After the Spring Festival, Hengyang's manufacturers received an explosive growth of orders. At a power transmission and transformation products supplier, workers were busy fulfilling orders of 37 sets of products which will be exported to Pakistan and Malaysia, with a total volume of 202 million CNY. Another 141 sets are prepared for delivery after assembly process and predelivery tests. The company's overseas orders surged with a 464% increase in foreign trade volume, which have been scheduled to this December.
As of February 7, all of the 1,403 large enterprises in Hengyang City had resumed production and worked in full swing for their ample orders.
Chenzhou has entered a peak season of production and sales. An agricultural machinery manufacturer in Chenzhou has operated all of its production lines at full capacity for consecutive days. One machinery could be rolled off the production line every 30 minutes. Its orders would be scheduled to late April.
Chenzhou has established local brands of agricultural machinery which have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions in Europe, Southeastern Asia, South America, and Africa.
The Hunan Department of Commerce has closely collaborated with foreign affairs, customs, civil aviation, and related authorities, and provided supports in the aspects of participating exhibition, comprehensive services, and facilitating entry and exit service, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of enterprises and safeguard their export business.
