On February 9, 127 members of China's Blue Sky Rescue Team arrived in earthquake-ravaged areas in Malatya, Türkiye, to carry out search and rescue efforts.
At 13:36 local time, the members of the Hunan Blue Sky Rescue Team detected signs of life under the earthquake debris in Malatya, and carried out rescue operations.
Malatya, only 38 kilometers from the epicenter, was ravaged in the earthquakes. More than 200 buildings collapsed, and earthquake debris are seen everywhere in the city. China's Blue Sky Rescue Team was the first international aid arriving in this place.
