During the spring ploughing season, Dingcheng District National Modern Agriculture Industrial Park in Changde City uses modern information technologies to digitally transform traditional agricultural production. A smart agricultural machinery monitoring platform is applied to observe the operations of agricultural equipment in the district. Visual monitoring technologies are adopted in fields to secure accurate farmland management and protection. With a total investment of 1.121 billion yuan, the modern agriculture industrial park covers an area of 977,000 mu (about 65,133 ha.) and involves 70,500 farming households. It was approved as a national one in December 2020.
