Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town Holds 'Guochao' Lantern Show to Celebrate Spring Festival

Appreciating lanterns is a traditional custom to celebrate the Spring Festival. A lantern show themed on guochao, or the rising cultural tide in China, has recently opened at the Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town, and will last until February 5, the Lantern Festival. Nearly 30 sets of lantern installations with Chinese cultural elements are on display. They make up over 40 landscapes featuring colorful lanterns, which stretch nearly 2,000 meters from the Shunzi Street entrance. Lantern art and folk culture are perfectly integrated to offer visitors a special lantern show full of festive atmosphere.
