Public sports centers across Hunan will offer free entry or lower admission fee for the public during the Spring Festival holiday. The move, aiming to meet people's fitness demand during the holiday, is a respond to the call of carrying out extensive public fitness activities and building China into a country strong on sports. 

The Hunan Provincial Bureau of Sports started to use the Hunan Sports Public Service Platform in 2016 and carried out data-based performance management and evaluation on the work of free and low fee-based opening of public sports centers. So far, Hunan has 129 public sports centers under the intelligent management. During the Spring Festival holiday, opening updates of these sports centers will be released on the platform to facilitate the public access to fitness facilities.

Outdoor Basketball Court of Hunan Stadium
Free opening hours: 8:00-17:00 Jan. 20-27, 2023

Liuyang Sports Center
Free opening dates: Jan. 21-27, 2023
Core areas of the gymnasium and the stadium as well as their outdoor fitness facilities will offer free admission and parking services to the public.  

Yongzhou Stadium
Free opening hours: 6:00-19:00 Jan. 12-Feb. 12, 2023
Core areas of Yongzhou Stadium and its outdoor basketball court and fitness facilities opens to the public free of charge during this period. Some sports events are available, including track and field, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, public benefit sports, parents-child activities, and heel-and-toe walking race. 

Ningyuan County Fitness Center
Free opening dates: Jan. 21-27, 2023
Ningyuan County Gymnasium (Badminton Gymnasium), indoor basketball arena, indoor balloon volleyball gym, and outdoor sports ground will open to the public free of charge during this period.

Gymnasium of Lixian County Fitness Service Center
Free opening dates: Jan. 21-27, 2023
