On the occasion of Chinese Spring Festival, Sergei Savitsky, first deputy chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee, presented warm festive greetings via video to the Hunan people.
 
Sergei Savitsky extended Spring Festival wishes, and hoped that Hunan Province and Mogilev Oblast will carry out closer cooperation and launch more projects in the new year.
 
Hunan Province and Mogilev Oblast of the Republic of Belarus established friendship province-oblast relations in April 2017, and since then have maintained close high-level communication and performed exchanges and cooperation in various fields. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in 2020, the peoples of Hunan Province and Mogilev Oblast came to each other’s aid and joined hands to fight against the pandemic, which had borne witness to the profound friendship between the two sides.
