Changsha Software Park and Changsha CEC Software Park have been rated as industrial parks for high-quality development and innovative vitality respectively, according to a seminar on building high-quality software industrial parks in China.

Changsha Software Park was awarded the title for its good results in developing software information and mobile Internet industries. It has fully leveraged its resource gathering advantages in the fields of talent, technology, finance, and science and technology to attract large and strong enterprises, cultivate emerging and small ones, and help excellent and strong ones.

Changsha CEC Software Park won the title for its outstanding achievements for years in constructing innovation platforms, training innovative talents, optimizing innovative environment, and fostering innovative ecology.

Changsha Software Park was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a software industry base of the National Torch Plan in 2000. In recent years, the park has fostered and developed emerging industries such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, network security, mobile payment and blockchain, developed the software and information services industry, and deepened the integration of informatization and industrialization.

Changsha CEC Software Park focuses on four characteristic industries, namely autonomous security computing, Beidou Navigation, industrial Internet and mobile Internet. Unremitting efforts have been made to strengthen, extend and supplement the industry chains and improve the innovation ecosystem. The annual output value of the park is about 30 billion yuan. More than 5,000 enterprises registered and over 300 ones settled here. They are core important forces supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship in the park.
