Hengshan Mountain Core Scenic Area resumed 24-hour opening starting from January 5, according to the official WeChat account of the scenic area. The service hours of the All-for-one Tourism Service Center and sightseeing buses are between 8:00 and 17:30.

The scenic area strictly limits the number of visitors, implements staggered shifts and reservation systems. Visitors will not be allowed to enter without making a reservation. They are required to make a reservation in advance via the official WeChat account "Nanyue Tourism [南岳旅游]" and show their ID cards before entering. Tourists are required to wear masks, keep social distancing, avoid gathering, follow personal protection measures when visiting at night, and pay attention to fire safety.
