At 8:00 am on January 3, the G84, a CR400AF-Z Fuxing intelligent bullet train, was bound from the Changsha South Railway Station on schedule to the Beijing West Station. It marked the launch of Fuxing intelligent bullet trains operated by the China Railway Guangzhou Group (CR-Guangzhou).

The train is in fresh appearance with a low-resistance streamlined locomotive. The three-colored wave-shaped pattern on the train looks like a dancing Chinese dragon.

The operation speed of this bullet train is 350 km per hour. Compared with the former type, the new Fuxing intelligent bullet train has improved the functions of passenger services. Modern technologies of Wi-Fi, wireless charging, and video casting are available. Socket and USB interfaces are set on the seats to satisfy passengers' charging needs. Braille alphabets are added at the service facilities for blind people in the accessible carriage to facilitate their travel. The inverter air conditioners can make less noise and have temperatures controlled with more precision. The intelligent lighting system in washrooms can adjust lighting intensity automatically.

Later, CR-Guangzhou will launch such intelligent bullet trains at the Guangzhou South Station, Shenzhen North Station, Shaoyang Railway Station, and Zhuzhou West Station.
