The Hunan Provincial People's Government held a press conference on December 30 to unveil Hunan's top 100 private enterprises for 2022. Hunan Vice Governor Qin Guowen announced the list.

The top 100 private enterprises were ranked based on their annual operating revenue in 2021. The gross operating revenue and total assets of the shortlisted enterprises achieved continuous growth, both exceeding one trillion CNY for the first time. 

The gross operating revenue increased by 23.89% to 1.078022 trillion CNY, which was 207.888 billion CNY more than the previous year. The total assets hit 1.113102 trillion CNY, rising by 16.66% and 158.988 billion CNY more than the previous year. The revenue threshold of Hunan's top 100 private enterprises increased from 1.746 billion CNY to a record of 2.19 billion CNY year on year.

The SANY Group topped the list with an operating revenue of 154.56 billion CNY. The Lens Technology and the Dahan Group ranked second and third, with their operating revenue reaching 109.315 billion CNY and 67.532 billion CNY respectively.
