CCID Consulting recently released the list of "Top 100 Happy Districts (2022)". Six districts in Hunan Province made the list, ranking first in the number of happy districts in central China. Yuhua, Furong, Tianxin, Kaifu, Yuelu districts of Changsha City ranked 16th, 18th, 29th, 42nd, and 54th respectively. Wuling District of Changde City ranked 84th.

The evaluation index system of "Top 100 Happy Districts (2022)" focuses on issues closely related to people's livelihood and includes 16 core indicators and 30 secondary indicators. It comprehensively evaluates the happiness of people's lives in 910 districts (except districts of municipalities directly under the central government) from six aspects: employment and income; consumption and supply; science, education, culture, and health; smart governance; harmony and sharing; and, ecological green.

CCID Consulting said that continuously improving the level of urban public services plays a vital role in promoting the construction of happy urban areas. It is essential to take the supply of high-quality urban public services as a leverage to improve the quality and happiness of urban areas. Efforts should be made to uphold the principles, address inadequacies, strengthen weak links, and improve quality. With this, we will continuously improve the level of urban public services, improve the basic public service system, and continuously improve the happiness of urban areas.
