Ningxiang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Ascends to National Level

The State Council recently approved to elevate the Ningxiang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone into national level. The Ningxiang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone will enjoy current policies for national high-tech industrial development zones. So far, Ningxiang City has 2 national-level industrial parks.


The Ningxiang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone was established in 2006, upgraded to a provincial-level industrial concentration zone in 2012, elevated to a provincial-level high-tech zone in 2015, and passed the acceptance of the establishment of the national high-tech zone in 2018. It has been approved as a national high-tech industrialization base of new energy-saving and environmental protection materials, a national demonstration base of new industrialization industry, a national battery industry cluster demonstration zone, a national foreign trade transformation and upgrading base (of equipment manufacturing), and a national torch energy storage materials characteristic industrial base. It has formed a "1+1+1" industrial pattern featuring intelligent equipment manufacturing, advanced energy storage materials, and medical equipment.


It was learned that the planned area of the upgraded Ningxiang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone will be 14.3607 square kilometers, with 2 blocks. The planned area of Block 1 will be 12.7279 square kilometers, from the Xinyang Avenue in the east to the Liquan Highway in the west, from 500 meters northward of the Jinqiao Road in the south to the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway in the north. The planned area of Block 2 will be 1.6328 square kilometers, stretching from 700 meters eastward of the Xinyang Avenue in the east to the 500KV Fuxing-Aijiachong Line II in the west, from the Jinsha East Road in the south to the Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway in the north.
