The online opening ceremony of the 13th Hunan Agricultural Machinery, Mining Machinery, and Electronic Ceramic Products Expo (Hunan Expo) was held in Shuangfeng County, Loudi City on the morning of December 25, 2022.
The 13th Hunan Expo, themed "Small agricultural machinery suitable for mechanized farming in hilly areas helps boost rural revitalization", is being held via the online exhibition mode. It has planned a series of activities, including online exhibitions and transactions of agricultural machinery enterprises; online agricultural machinery operation talent shows; enterprise meeting via video link; and, expert interviews. More than 150 well-known domestic companies such as Zoomlion, YTO, SEEYES, DJI, and World presented more than 600 kinds of agricultural machinery products, and over 300 professional buyers participated in online trading activities. Farmers who purchase agricultural machinery during the online exhibition can enjoy cumulative municipal subsidies in addition to national and provincial subsidies.
Hunan Expo, a brand exhibition approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province and supported by the Ministry of Commerce, sets the main venue in Shuangfeng County for the second time. In recent years, Shuangfeng County has supported and guided local agricultural machinery enterprises to develop and promote small agricultural machinery that adapts to the characteristics of hilly and mountainous farming and covers all aspects of the crop planting chain, to vigorously boost the "smart agricultural machinery" industry. There are currently 67 agricultural machinery enterprises above designated sizes in the county. Between January and November this year, the agricultural machinery industry achieved an output value of 7.499 billion yuan, and completed 110 million yuan of agricultural machinery export.
Shuangfeng County has established the "smart agricultural machinery" industry suitable for hilly and mountainous areas, and was rated as a typical experience and practice recognized by the provincial government's comprehensive inspection mission in 2022.
