The "Multinational Companies Visiting Hunan" serial activities have been held in Changsha and Changde cities since December. More than 20 multinational enterprises from France, the United States, Denmark, Australia, and other countries came to Hunan to conduct in-depth exchanges with relevant departments, industrial parks and zones, and firms in Hunan and reached cooperation intentions.

Danone Group is the first to visit Hunan Province in this event. On December 5, Danone and Hunan government exchanged views on building a dairy industry cluster in central China at a special matchmaking meeting. Next year, it will inject more investment into its Changsha factory in the Wangcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, to upgrade existing equipment and facilities and realize digital transformation of the factory.

On December 6, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, DTZ in the United Kingdom, and Rockwell Automation in the United States and its upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain organized a group to Hunan. They had in-depth communication and exchanged ideas with Hunan on such issues as intelligent transformation of industrial parks and enterprises, and inspected the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area. Chen Ye, vice president of Rockwell Automation (China) Co., Ltd., remarked that they will fully promote Rockwell and upstream and downstream industrial chain companies to enter Hunan.

On December 9, the Australian FMG Group visited Hunan and discussed on the Hunan (Changde) Hydrogen Energy Equipment Industrial Park construction. The project was planned to build a hydrogen energy equipment industry chain including electrolytic cells, membrane electrodes, and catalysts, to promote the agglomeration and development of hydrogen energy equipment industry clusters in Hunan Province.

Hosting the "Multinational Companies Visiting Hunan" serial activities is an important measure for Hunan to implement targeted investment attraction, said an official with the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, adding that in late December, Germany's Siemens and Japan's Mitsubishi Electric will also visit Hunan to communicate on cooperation issues related to building an advanced manufacturing cluster.
