Hunan, Hubei, and Jiangxi Annual Travel Card Issued

The launching ceremony of the annual travel card for Hunan, Hubei, and Jiangxi provinces in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River was held simultaneously in Changsha, Wuhan, and Nanchang on December 14. With the card, people can visit more than 300 attractions in the three provinces.

Hunan, Hubei, and Jiangxi jointly launched China's first trans-provincial annual travel card. It was a response to the integrated development of culture and tourism put forward in the report to the 20th CPC National Congress and a move to promote the work of tourism cooperation development alliance of the three provinces.

The card is priced at 300 yuan, with an accumulative value exceeding 50,000 yuan. Cardholders can enjoy free entry to more than 300 attractions in the three provinces, including over 20 ones with a 5A rating. The 5A-level scenic areas include Dongjiang Lake, Taohuayuan, Langshan Mountain, and Emperor Yan's Mausoleum. The card will take effect on January 1, 2023.

The card is issued nationwide. People can buy the card on the "Life Page" of the App of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and a mini program named "质惠游湖南". In addition, the card can be purchased at the China Post Hunan Branch, Hunan Provincial Self-driving Tour and RV Camping Association, and Hunan Overseas Travel Services. Cardholders are required to make a reservation online and do facial recognition before entering. It will help reduce the time of queueing up for collecting tickets.
