During the 24 hours of December 10, there were 24 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 2 imported cases. The 22 local asymptomatic cases included 15 in Changsha, 3 in Yongzhou, 2 in Changde, 1 in Heangyang and 1 in Shaoyang. There were two new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 225 new cases out of quarantine (including 1 imported case). There were 3,121 people under medical observation (including 11 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 10, 2022, a total of 1,203 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 366 patients hospitalized (including 3 imported cases), and no severe cases. Eight hundred and thirty-seven patients were discharged from hospitals (including 75 imported cases). No people had died.
