Public signs and plates reading "Please scan the venue code" and "Check nucleic acid test results" have all been removed from the departure floor at the Changsha Huanghua International Airport Terminal T2.
Following the latest prevention and control policy of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, Changsha Airport will stop checking nucleic acid test results, health codes and digital travel history of inbound and outbound passengers from December 8th. In addition, nucleic acid testing of inbound passengers upon arrival will be carried out voluntarily.
Passengers are reminded that specific anti-epidemic requirements on boarding a flight are subject to the airline or the destination city's epidemic prevention policy. For details, they can call the Changsha Airport customer service hotline at 0731-96777 or airline customer service telephones for consultation.
Meanwhile, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before going through the check-in, security check and boarding formalities. Passengers should wear masks and keep a safe distance of more than one meter during the period.
The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council released a circular on further optimizing the COVID-19 response on December 7th. According to the circular, cross-regional travellers are no longer required to present their negative nucleic acid test results and health codes and take a test upon arrival.
Passengers must no longer have their nucleic acid test results or health codes checked when purchasing tickets, boarding trains, and passing through station entrances and exits at the Changsha South Railway Station and its 17 subsidiary stations.
