During the 24 hours of December 7, there were 129 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 39 in Changsha, 16 in Shaoyang, 12 in Yiyang, 11 in Yongzhou, 10 in Huaihua, 9 in Loudi, 8 in Changde, 7 in Zhuzhou, 6 in Chenzhou, 5 in Xiangxi, 3 in Xiangtan, 2 in Yueyang, and 1 in Hengyang. There was 1 new asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one. There were 186 new cases out of quarantine (including 1 imported case). There were 3,833 people under medical observation (including 11 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 7, 2022, a total of 1,175 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 444 patients hospitalized (including 3 imported cases), and no severe cases. Seven hundred and thirty-one patients were discharged from hospitals (including 75 imported cases).
