During the 24 hours of December 6, there were 234 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 66 in Changsha, 32 in Yiyang, 27 in Xiangxi, 24 in Shaoyang, 21 in Loudi, 16 in Yongzhou, 12 in Zhuzhou, 11 in Hengyang, 10 in Huaihua, 7 in Changde, 5 in Yueyang, 2 in Chenzhou, and 1 in Xiangtan. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 197 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,891 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 6, 2022, a total of 1,168 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 443 patients hospitalized (including 3 imported cases), and no severe cases. Seven hundred and twenty-five patients were discharged from hospitals (including 75 imported cases). No people had died.
