There were 15 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones, including 6 in Changsha, 4 in Loudi, 3 in Zhuzhou, 1 in Xiangtan, and 1 in Yueyang.
During the 24 hours of December 4, there were 454 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 2 imported cases and 452 local ones. The local asymptomatic cases included 128 in Changsha, 69 in Shaoyang, 42 in Loudi, 34 in Chenzhou, 29 in Yiyang, 28 in Zhuzhou, 28 in Xiangxi, 26 in Xiangtan, 19 in Changde, 19 in Yongzhou, 10 in Huaihua, 9 in Hengyang, 9 in Zhangjiajie, and 2 in Yueyang. There were 15 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 77 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,708 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 4, 2022, a total of 1,143 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 450 patients hospitalized (including 3 imported cases), and no severe cases. Six hundred and ninety-three patients were discharged from hospitals (including 75 imported cases). No people had died.
