There were 18 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones, including 16 in Zhuzhou and 2 in Loudi.
During the 24 hours of December 3, there were 427 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 1 imported case and 426 local ones. The local asymptomatic cases included 125 in Changsha, 72 in Loudi, 42 in Shaoyang, 34 in Yiyang, 32 in Chenzhou, 25 in Xiangxi, 24 in Yongzhou, 23 in Zhuzhou, 18 in Changde, 11 in Hengyang, 9 in Xiangtan, 8 in Huaihua, and 3 in Yueyang. There were 18 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 102 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,346 people under medical observation (including 10 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 3, 2022, a total of 1060 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 376 patients hospitalized (including 5 imported cases), and no severe cases. Six hundred and eighty-four patients were discharged from hospitals (including 73 imported cases). No people had died.
