There were 9 asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones, including 5 in Changsha, 3 in Zhuzhou, and 1 in Xiangtan.
During the 24 hours of November 28, there were 319 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 110 in Huaihua, 93 in Changsha, 28 in Zhuzhou, 21 in Changde, 11 in Shaoyang, 11 in Yongzhou, 10 in Loudi, 9 in Hengyang, 8 in Chenzhou, 6 in Yueyang, 4 in Xiangtan, 3 in Yiyang, 3 in Xiangxi, and 2 in Zhangjiajie. There were 9 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 189 new cases out of quarantine (including 1 imported case). There were 2,604 people under medical observation (including 6 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 28, 2022, a total of 859 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 225 patients hospitalized (including 10 imported cases), and no severe cases. Six hundred and thirty-four patients were discharged from hospitals (including 68 imported cases). No people had died.
