During the 24 hours of November 24, there were 140 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 1 imported case. The other 139 local asymptomatic cases included 61 in Huaihua, 27 in Changde, 15 in Zhuzhou, 13 in Changsha, 9 in Yongzhou, 7 in Chenzhou, 2 in Hengyang, 2 in Shaoyang, 2 in Xiangxi, and 1 in Xiangtan. There were 8 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 21 new cases out of quarantine (including 1 imported case). There were 3,946 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 24, 2022, a total of 739 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 77 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 189 patients hospitalized (including 12 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Five hundred and fifty patients were discharged from hospitals (including 65 imported cases). No people had died.
