During the 24 hours of November 23, there were 131 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan, including 61 in Changde, 27 in Changsha, 16 in Zhuzhou, 7 in Xiangtan, 4 in Shaoyang, 4 in Yongzhou, 4 in Xiangxi, 3 in Yueyang, 2 in Zhangjiajie, 1 in Hengyang, 1 in Chenzhou, and 1 in Huaihua. There were 10 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 54 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,835 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 23, 2022, a total of 710 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 77 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 167 patients hospitalized (including 13 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Five hundred and forty-three patients were discharged from hospitals (including 64 imported cases). No people had died.
