Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on November 22, 2022

During the 24 hours of November 22, Hunan reported 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 1 imported case and 12 local cases (4 in Chenzhou, 2 in Zhuzhou, 2 in Zhangjiajie, 1 in Xiangtan, and 1 in Changde, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 2 in Changsha). There were 2 asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones, including 1 in Changde and 1 in Chenzhou.


During the 24 hours of November 22, there were 122 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 6 in Zhuzhou, 6 in Xiangxi, 3 in Yiyang, 2 in Zhangjiajie, and 1 in Loudi, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 62 in Changde, among whom 51 were found among the people under quarantine; 16 in Changsha, among whom 6 were found among the people under quarantine; 6 in Huaihua, among whom 4 were found among the people under quarantine; 5 in Shaoyang, among whom 4 were found among the people under quarantine; 5 in Chenzhou, among whom 3 were found among the people under quarantine; 5 in Yongzhou, among whom 4 were found among the people under quarantine; 4 in Hengyang, among whom 3 were found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 in Yueyang. There were 2 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 47 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,768 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).


Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 22, 2022, a total of 687 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 77 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 149 patients hospitalized (including 13 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Five hundred and thirty-eight patients were discharged from hospitals (including 64 imported cases). No people had died.
