During the 24 hours of November 21, Hunan reported 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 2 imported cases and 11 local cases (3 in Zhuzhou, 2 in Xiangtan, 2 in Changde, and 1 in Loudi, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 3 in Chenzhou, among whom 1 was found among the people under quarantine). There were 7 asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones, including 2 in Zhuzhou, 2 in Xiangtan, 2 in Changde, and 1 in Chenzhou.
During the 24 hours of November 21, there were 122 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. One was imported case, the other 121 included 19 in Xiangxi, 11 in Zhuzhou, 2 in Yiyang, 2 in Yongzhou, and 1 in Xiangtan, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 66 in Changde, among whom 62 were found among the people under quarantine; 10 in Shaoyang, among whom 9 were found among the people under quarantine; 9 in Huaihua, among whom 7 were found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 in Hengyang. There were 7 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 123 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,695 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 21, 2022, a total of 674 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 76 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 142 patients hospitalized (including 12 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Five hundred and thirty-two patients were discharged from hospitals (including 64 imported cases). No people had died.
