On November 20, the 2022 Hunan Cultural Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Conference was held in Zhangjiajie City. Eighty-five provincial-level major investment promotion projects were signed, with a total investment of 114.717 billion yuan. They involved such fields as scenic spot development, cultural tourism industry integration, resort hotels, health care centers, rural revitalization, and cultural tourism supporting infrastructure.

The conference released 302 key cultural tourism investment projects in Hunan Province, with a total investment of 604 billion yuan and an investment and financing need of 529.6 billion yuan. Sixteen projects were signed at the meeting.

A signing ceremony for cultural and tourism financial cooperation was held at the conference. The amount of financing and lending of key cultural tourism industry projects in the province reached 34.85 billion yuan. 

The Zhangjiajie government has reached strategic cooperation with 15 financial institutions, including the China Development Bank Hunan Branch and Agricultural Development Bank Hunan Branch. And the facility amount totalled 420 billion yuan. In the future, these financial institutions will take Zhangjiajie City as a key support area for strategic cooperation and business development, and give priority to resource allocation, comprehensive services and financial innovation.

In addition, plaques of the "Hunan Excellent Cultural Tourism Financial Service Unit" were conferred to 14 financial institutions. Hunan's sixteen classic cases of promoting the development of cultural tourism through financing and innovative financial products such as "Xiang Travel Guarantee" and "Rural Revitalization + Cultural Tourism" were released. The "Cultural Tourism Financial Supermarket" for credit financing of the cultural and tourism industry in Hunan Province was also launched.

The Hunan Cultural Tourism Industry Investment and Financing Conference is one of the three supporting activities of the first Tourism Development Conference of Hunan Province. It was hosted by the Organizing Committee of the first Tourism Development Conference of Hunan Province, and undertaken by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce and the Zhangjiajie Municipal People's Government. The conference aimed to innovate investment project attraction, promote financial cooperation, stimulate industrial investment, and build a promotion platform for exchanges and cooperation of cultural tourism industry projects in Hunan.
