Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on November 20, 2022

During the 24 hours of November 20, Hunan reported 4 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 1 imported case; 2 asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones in Changde, both of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 in Chenzhou, who was found among the people under quarantine.


During the 24 hours of November 20, there were 178 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 18 in Zhuzhou, 6 in Shaoyang, 2 in Hengyang, 2 in Yueyang, and 1 in Xiangtan, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 98 in Changde, among whom 95 were found among the people under quarantine; 31 in Xiangxi, among whom 25 were found among the people under quarantine; 10 in Huaihua, among whom 8 were found among the people under quarantine; 6 in Yiyang, among whom 4 were found among the people under quarantine; 2 in Chenzhou, among whom 1 was found among the people under quarantine; 1 in Yongzhou; and 1 in Loudi. There were 2 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 164 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,703 people under medical observation (including 11 imported cases).


Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 20, 2022, a total of 661 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 74 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 149 patients hospitalized (including 10 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Five hundred and twelve patients were discharged from hospitals (including 64 imported cases). No people had died.
