During the 24 hours of November 18, Hunan reported 8 new confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 4 imported asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones; 1 asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one in Changsha; 1 asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one in Xiangtan; 1 in Chenzhou; and, 1 in Loudi, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine.
During the 24 hours of November 18, there were 106 new asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. One was imported case and the other 105 included 36 in Zhuzhou, 16 in Changde, 7 in Shaoyang, 4 in Yueyang, and 1 in Changsha, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 26 in Xiangxi, among whom 22 were found among the people under quarantine; 9 in Huaihua, among whom 7 were found among the people under quarantine; 4 in Yiyang, among whom 2 were found among the people under quarantine; and, 2 in Hengyang. There were 6 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones (including 4 imported cases). There were 25 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,703 people under medical observation (including 10 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 18, 2022, a total of 647 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 71 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 160 patients hospitalized (including 7 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Four hundred and eighty-seven patients were discharged from hospitals (including 64 imported cases). No people had died.
