Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on November 16, 2022

During the 24 hours of November 16, Hunan reported 2 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases. One was in Yueyang and the other in Zhangjiajie (asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one), both were found among the people under quarantine.

During the 24 hours of November 16, there were 172 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 72 in Changde, among whom 29 were found among the people under quarantine; 66 in Zhuzhou, among whom 65 were found among the people under quarantine; 14 in Shaoyang, among whom 11 were found among the people under quarantine; 6 in Yongzhou, among whom 3 were found among the people under quarantine; 4 in Huaihua, among whom 3 were found among the people under quarantine; 3 in Hengyang, among whom 2 were found among the people under quarantine; 2 in Loudi, among whom 1 was found among the people under quarantine; 1 in Xiangtan, 1 in Chenzhou, and 1 in Xiangxi, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 2 in Changsha. There was 1 new asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one. There were 41 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,513 people under medical observation (including 7 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 16, 2022, a total of 636 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 67 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 187 patients hospitalized (including 4 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Four hundred and forty-nine patients were discharged from hospitals (including 63 imported cases). No people had died.
