During the 24 hours of November 12, Hunan reported 7 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases. The local cases included: 3 in Chenzhou, 2 of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 2 in Changsha, among whom one was found among the people under quarantine; 1 in Zhuzhou, who was found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 in Yiyang. One case in Chenzhou was re-categorized from asymptomatic one.
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 12, 2022, there were 172 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 130 in Zhuzhou, 7 in Yongzhou, 2 in Changsha, and 1 in Hengyang, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 13 in Shaoyang, among whom 11 were found among the people under quarantine; 12 in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, among whom 4 were found among the people under quarantine; and, 7 in Huaihua, among whom 6 were found among the people under quarantine. There was one new asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one, including no imported cases. There were 8 new cases out of quarantine. There were 2,804 people under medical observation (including 6 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 12, 2022, a total of 616 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 67 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 197 patients hospitalized (including 4 imported cases), and 1 severe case. Four hundred and nineteen patients were discharged from hospitals (including 63 imported cases). No people had died.
