Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on November 9, 2022

During the 24 hours of November 9, Hunan reported 13 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 8 in Zhuzhou, among whom 7 were found among the people under quarantine; 3 in Shaoyang, 1 in Hengyang, and 1 in Yongzhou, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 2 asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones (1 in Hengyang and 1 in Yongzhou).

During the 24 hours of November 9, there were 94 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 41 in Shaoyang, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 32 in Zhuzhou, among whom 31 were found among the people under quarantine; 13 in Huaihua, among whom 12 were found among the people under quarantine; 5 in Yongzhou and 2 in Changsha, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 in Changde. There were two new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There was one new case out of quarantine. There were 2,656 people under medical observation (including 4 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 9, 2022, a total of 594 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 65 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 261 patients hospitalized (including 2 imported cases), and 3 severe cases. Three hundred and thirty-three patients were discharged from hospitals (including 63 imported cases). No people had died.
