During the 24 hours of November 8, Hunan reported 8 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 4 in Zhuzhou, 1 in Changsha, and 1 in Yongzhou, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 2 in Huaihua, among whom 1 was found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one in Yongzhou.
During the 24 hours of November 8, there were 151 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 53 in Shaoyang, 26 in Changsha, and 8 in Yongzhou, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; 51 in Zhuzhou, among whom 50 were found among the people under quarantine; 12 in Huaihua, among whom 7 were found among the people under quarantine; and, 1 in Changde. There was one new asymptomatic case re-categorized as confirmed one. There were two new cases out of quarantine. There were 2,565 people under medical observation (including 4 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 8, 2022, a total of 581 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 65 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 250 patients hospitalized (including 2 imported cases), and 3 severe cases. Three hundred and thirty-one patients were discharged from hospitals (including 63 imported cases). No people had died.
