On November 6, villagers collected fruits of oil-tea camellia at Gaohu Town, Hengdong County, Hengyang City. Now fruits of oil-tea camellia in Hengdong County have entered harvest season. Local farmers are busy picking and airing the fruits in fine weather.
Hengdong County has leveraged its mountainous forest resources to develop oil-tea camellia planting. It has become a national key county for the development of the oil-tea camellia industry. There are 760,000 mu (about 50,666 ha.) of oil-tea camellia trees, which effectively help boost rural revitalization.
