Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on November 7, 2022

During the 24 hours of November 7, Hunan reported 16 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases. They were: 6 in Huaihua, among whom 5 were found among the people under quarantine; and, 5 in Yongzhou, 3 in Zhuzhou, and 2 in Shaoyang, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine. Two of the five confirmed cases in Yongzhou were re-categorized from asymptomatic ones, both found among the people under quarantine. 

During the 24 hours of November 7, there were 184 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 90 in Shaoyang, 38 in Changsha, 30 in Zhuzhou, and 19 in Yongzhou, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine; and, 3 in Huaihua, 2 in Loudi, 1 in Hengyang, and 1 in Chenzhou. There were two new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were three new cases out of quarantine. There were 2,417 people under medical observation (including 4 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 7, 2022, a total of 573 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 65 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 244 patients hospitalized (including 2 imported cases), and 3 severe cases. Three hundred and twenty-nine patients were discharged from hospitals (including 63 imported cases). No people had died.
