Daily Update on COVID-19 Cases in Hunan on November 5, 2022

During the 24 hours of November 5, Hunan reported 11 new local confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 7 in Zhuzhou, among whom 2 were found among the people under quarantine, and 4 in Shaoyang, all of whom were found among the people under quarantine.

During the 24 hours of November 5, there were 253 new local asymptomatic cases reported in Hunan. They were: 214 in Shaoyang, among whom 205 were found among the people under quarantine; 28 in Zhuzhou, among whom 5 were found among the people under quarantine; 9 in Yongzhou, among whom 8 were found among the people under quarantine; 1 in Changsha; and, 1 in Hengyang who was found among the people under quarantine. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 3 new cases out of quarantine. There were 1,981 people under medical observation (including 4 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on November 5, 2022, a total of 547 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 65 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 219 patients hospitalized (including 2 imported cases), and 3 severe cases. Three hundred and twenty-eight patients were discharged from hospitals (including 63 imported cases). No people had died.
