The 2022 Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Week will be held in Shanghai between November 3rd and 8th. This is the first major Hunan economic and trade event that will be held outside the province after the 20th CPC National Congress was concluded.
The promotion week is held every two years. This year, it will take advantage of the platform and exhibitor resources of the 5th China International Import Expo. Themed "New Driving Forces, New Opening-up Pacesetter", it aims to continuously broaden the cooperation fields between Hunan and the Yangtze River Delta region and improve the level of partnership.
There will be major events like Hunan's promotion of building itself into a hub of reform and opening up in inland regions, consultations for multinational companies, and the investment attraction and promotion conference of Hunan's biomedical industry, to attract large and promising projects to settle down in Hunan. It will also hold an online-offline combined trade fair for Hunan delicacies and other special activities. Meanwhile, eight cities and one prefecture of Hunan Province will also carry out investment promotion activities in the Yangtze River Delta region.
During the promotion week, several large-scale and good projects with industry-driven solid capabilities and industrial chain replenishment and extension will be signed. It intends to sign 88 major provincial-level projects with a total investment of 93.588 billion yuan, covering intelligent equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy, biomedicine, and other fields. Among them, there are 14 projects of three categories of "Top 500" enterprises with an investment amount of 30.86 billion yuan, including six of the Fortune Global 500 enterprises.
The promotion week will invite 108 companies, including 34 of three categories of "Top 500" enterprises. Focusing on multinational companies with significant projects and investment intentions in Hunan, it will also invite heads of more than 70 global companies and institutions such as BASF SE, Continental Group, Bosch Group, Mitsubishi Electric, and Wilmar International.
The event will also promote Hunan's high-quality products to the Shanghai market. It is planned to sign a "Hunan products entering Shanghai" product procurement agreement costing 210 million yuan.
