The 23rd Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo lowered its curtain on November 1, with a transaction volume of over 500 million yuan.

First launched in 1999, the expo has been held for 23 sessions. It has become a significant showcase of Hunan's new measures taken, new achievements made, and new looks taken on in rural revitalization. It is also a platform to present new technologies, new products, and new findings of agriculture in central China and other domestic and foreign regions.

More than 20 events were held during the expo. A total of 4,078 enterprises displayed more than 16,000 products. Over 50,000 purchasers and professional audiences participated. The transaction volume at the expo hit 516 million yuan.

Nearly 100 agricultural products were promoted during a three-day live-streaming marketing event. A number of new-generation farmers recommended their products via live streaming, and saw fruitful results.
