The industrial internet empowers Hunan's intelligent manufacturing. As of the end of this September, Hunan's major industrial internet platforms have developed more than 20,000 industrial APPs; collected more than 15,000 types of data parameters; and, connected to more than 4.3 million industrial equipment (sets), according to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Hunan Province on October 29, 2022. This has vigorously promoted the establishment of the Hunan Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Demonstration Zone.
The construction of digital infrastructure provides innovative support for the development of the industrial internet. The provincial industry and information technology authorities have organized basic telecommunications enterprises to provide flexible, reliable, secure, and customized network services for industrial parks and zones, to promote upgrading and transformation of their network and enterprises' intranet. Changsha national Internet backbone direct connection point was opened. There are currently 31 enterprise nodes in the second-level node for industrial internet identification analysis in electronic industry, with 278 million identification registrations and an average daily analysis volume of more than 1.5 million.
The platform is the central nervous system of the industrial internet, providing the driving force for digital transformation. There are more than 140 industrial internet platforms of various types provincewide. Forty-four provincial-level industrial internet platforms, such as intelligent power operation and maintenance service platform and industrial internet comprehensive platform for rail transit core components enterprises, have accelerated application and promotion. A comprehensive, professional, and characteristic platform system has taken shape.
The industrial internet speeds up integration and innovative application of the three new types of industrial clusters, including electronic information, new energy vehicles, and modern petrochemical. Various industrial enterprises have stepped up digital transformation. The industrial internet platform of the Hunan Fullriver Hightechnology Co., Ltd. has helped to increase the factories' comprehensive efficiency by more than 30% and the per capita output value by more than 20%. The industrial internet platform for intelligent operation and maintenance of equipment in the petrochemical industry, built by the Yueyang CLPEC Electromechanical Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd., has realized such functions as production line life management and real-time monitoring and early warning for petrochemical enterprises.
