The WorldSkills Competition, known as the "Skills Olympics", is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in the world that truly reflects the benchmarks of the global industry. The WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition is the official replacement for WorldSkills Shanghai 2022, which was canceled in May due to the COVID-19 epidemic. This year's competition has 62 skill competitions scheduled to be held in 15 countries and regions from mid-September to late November.
So far, China has won 15 gold, three silver and three bronze medals, and five medallions for excellence.
Competitors from 20 countries and regions participated in the fashion technology contest. They were required to complete style design, three-dimensional modelling, sample and layout, clothing production and other competition links with the on-site materials and equipment within 18 hours.
After four days of competition, Dong Qing won the championship of the fashion technology contest.
