The 7th China International Food and Catering Expo will open at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center between November 24 and 26, 2022.

The expo, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hunan Provincial People's Government, is a significant exposition of domestic trade in the food and catering industry. It was planned to be held in September but postponed.

Covering a total area of 80,000 square meters, the exhibition will consist of several specialized zones for catering, food materials, chain business participation, grain and edible oil, coffee, tea, condiments, imported food, and a newly added one for hotel supplies, to help smooth the food and catering industrial chain.

Related events will be held during the expo, such as the 5th China Hunan Cuisine Materials E-commerce Festival, the 6th Hunan Famous, High-quality, Specialty, and New Grain and Oil Products Fair, and the Hunan (Changsha) International Hotel Supplies Exposition.

A number of domestic regions have registered for participation, including Jiangsu, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Hebei, Liaoning, Shenzhen, and Xiamen. There will be several pavilions of Hong Kong SAR, and foreign regions such as the EU, Africa, South Korea, and Australia. More than 30 activities, including meetings, forums, competitions, performances, and business matchmaking, will be organized.

All of Hunan's 14 municipal-level regions will participate. The exhibition area of Changsha City will cover 3,248 square meters. The "A Bite of Changsha" pavilion will be arranged, showcasing the development and achievements of Changsha's food and catering industry over the past years via objects and images, and introducing some representative catering enterprises in Changsha City.
