Hunan delegation to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held its first group interview on the evening of October 19, 2022. Six delegates, including Shen Yumou, Fu Ling, Dong Minfang, Ma Jie, Ma Shiguang, and Zhu Xia successively received interviews on implementing the strategy of expanding domestic demand, innovation-driven development, food security, high-quality development, industrial and supply chain construction, and rural revitalization. Delegate Shen Yumou, director of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and secretary of its CPC Leadership Group, noted that the strategy of expanding domestic demand will be implemented from the three dimensions of "key points, one major task, and various fields".

Delegate Fu Ling, a member of the CPC Committee, vice president, chief engineer, and dean of the Research Institute of Zoomlion, remarked that as a leading equipment manufacturing enterprise in Hunan, Zoomlion will be the main force in implementing the positioning, missions, and tasks of the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy, and will contribute more to building China into a world leader of construction machinery.

Delegate Dong Minfang, chairman of the Runsheng Rice Professional Cooperative and the Fengrui Agricultural Machinery Professional Cooperative in Yueyang County, promised to take the lead in high-quality development of Hunan's grain industry.

"The report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the opening session of the 20th CPC National Congress put forward new requirements and tasks for the building of a transportation powerhouse. We must shoulder the responsibility of state-owned enterprises in implementing the strategy of transportation powerhouse construction, and strive to build a first-class modern comprehensive transportation industrial group." Delegate Ma Jie, secretary of the CPC Committee and chairman of the Hunan Expressway Group Co., Ltd., answered questions from journalists.
