According to the expo organizing committee, the 23rd Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo will open on October 28th. The precooked cuisine industry will be a highlight of this session. Domestic precooked cuisine enterprises and related suppliers will participate, providing a feast of precooked gourmet dishes for the Changsha people.
Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo was initiated in 1999 and has been held for 22 consecutive sessions. It is a significant showcase for new agricultural technologies, products, and achievements in the central region of China and other domestic and overseas areas. "There will be three major exhibition areas – Hunan cuisines; precooked cuisines; and featured snacks," the organizer introduced. The exhibition area of precooked cuisines will cover relevant sectors of precooked dishes, including raw materials, processing and marketing, and consumption. In addition, it will help connect quality exhibitors with professional purchasers.
Data shows that, in 2021, China's precooked cuisine industry achieved an output value of 340 billion yuan, among which over 70% was meat. The precooked cuisine industry has opened a new pattern of catering consumption and spurred new kitchen reform.
More than 30 precooked cuisine businesses will participate in the expo this year to promote their precooked dishes to the world via online and offline channels. Several Changsha-based precooked cuisine suppliers have registered for participation. Relevant preparations for the expo are progressing smoothly.
