Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Museum Closed Since Oct. 7

Starting from October 7 (Friday), the Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Museum will be temporarily closed until further notice. The decision was made in the light of the COVID-19 prevention and control requirements of Hunan Province, and in order to ensure all-out efforts in epidemic prevention and control and safeguard people's health and security.

The closed venues and spots include: exhibition area of Mao Zedong's life story, themed exhibition area, and "All for the People" exhibition in the museum; Mao Zedong's Former Residence; Nan'an Old-style Private School; and, Mao's Ancestral Hall.

The pre-booked tickets would be invalid since the closing day, and need not to be refunded.

Latest information will be released via official channels including: the museum's official website, WeChat public account, official WeChat channel, and official Douyin account, and the Weibo account (天下韶山).
