The Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area would decrease its daily visitor cap from 100,000 to 50,000 starting from October 5 following the current COVID-19 prevention and control requirements, according to a notice released by the Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area Management Office.

The highest daily number of visitors to Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area reached 100,000. The number of daily visitors should not exceed 70% of its maximum carrying capacity amid COVID-19 epidemic. According to the latest anti-epidemic requirements, the daily visitor cap would be set at 50,000, or 50% of the maximum carrying capacity.
