The 2022 National Day Fireworks Celebration lit up the sky above the sea overlooked by Macao Tower on the evening of October 1, in celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The fireworks were set off by a Liuyang enterprise. Featuring the elements of "five-starred red flag" and "rainbow bridge", the dazzling fireworks show expressed best wishes for the Motherland's prosperous future.
A person in charge of a fireworks company from Liuyang City said that the National Day fireworks display consists of four themed chapters: "Long Live the Motherland", "The Golden Years", "Together for a Better Future", and "Building the Chinese Dream".
To enhance spectator's experience with a more fascinating light and sound spectacular, sound systems were installed at five locations on Macao Peninsula and Taipa to stream the synchronized background music together with TDM Radio Macao Chinese Channel (FM100.7).
In addition, the Macao Government Tourism Office also live streamed the fireworks show through television, websites, and social media to enable more people to experience the festive vibes in Macao.
"At important moments, Liuyang fireworks can always surprise and appeal us emotionally, which fully demonstrates the great charm and attractiveness of Liuyang fireworks, and also gives us the confidence and motivation to continue to promote industrial innovation and development," said Tang Jianjun, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and director of the Liuyang Firecrackers and Fireworks Industry Development Center. He added that all-out efforts will be made to support Liuyang professional fireworks display companies to go global, continuously explore in-depth cooperation with well-known scenic spots at home and abroad, and promote the deep integration of the fireworks industry with creative design and media art by creating large fireworks shows, small creative music fireworks performances, and other normalized fireworks cultural tourism projects, so that more people will be fond of Liuyang fireworks.
