The All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese recently confirmed the list of the tenth batch of "Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Bases". Hunan Province's Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Jiuyi Mountain-Emperor Shun's Mausoleum, and Miluo Quzi Cultural Park made the list.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the core area of the national key ecological area and the demonstration effect presentation area of ecological civilization construction. The park hosted and co-organized the 13th Cross-Strait Nature Reserve Business Exchange Seminar, the 10th "Huxiang Cultural Tour", "Taiwan Youth Summer Camp", "Hunan Tour of Overseas Taiwan Businessmen " and other conferences and activities. Attendees of the 2022 Overseas Chinese Media Visiting Hunan and the conference of 2022 Overseas Chinese Assisting Zhangjiajie in Tourism Development visited Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to have an ecological and cultural experience tour.

In recent years, significant activities such as the "Hometown Tour of Overseas Chinese", the Memorial Ceremony to Worship Emperor Shun of Hunan Province, and "Our Festival: the Mid-Autumn Festival" have been held at the Jiuyi Mountain-Emperor Shun's Mausoleum, which has attracted much attention of overseas Chinese at home and abroad. In the past three years, the Jiuyi Mountain-Emperor Shun's Mausoleum has received more than 800,000 tourist arrivals every year, including more than 60,000 Shun clan relatives and overseas Chinese.

Qu Yuan was a great romantic patriotic poet. He was listed as one of the world's four literary celebrities by the World Peace Council in 1953, the other three being Francois Rabelais, Nicolaus Copernicus and William Shakespeare. In recent years, Miluo has vigorously promoted the construction of Quzi Cultural Park, built the core scenic spot of Quzi Temple, the Duanwu Culture Experience Area, the Duanwu Cultural Industry Zone, the Duanwu Culture and Folk Customs Area, the Qu Yuan Tomb Protection Area, and the Miluo River Wetland Protection Area. The city held a series of cultural and tourism activities such as the international poetry week.
