Secretary Zhang Urges to Protect, Utilize Cultural Relics and Preserve, Pass Down Cultural Heritage

Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, visited Fenghuang County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, and Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County of Huaihua City on September 25 and 26, 2022. He came to inspect the development of agricultural industry, the protection of historical relics, and the consolidation and expansion of the achievements made in poverty alleviation in coordination with the extensive drive for rural vitalization.

He asked to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches, directives, and instructions on Hunan Province; effectively strengthen the protection, utilization of cultural relics, and the preservation, passing-down of cultural heritage; accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas; and, push forward rural vitalization in an all-round way, so as to set the stage with concrete actions to welcome the 20th CPC National Congress.

Zhu Guoxian, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, attended.
