Changsha Sees over 740,000 Tourist Trips During Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday

Changsha's cultural tourism activities once again went viral on social media during the just-concluded Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The data from Chinese online travel agency Ctrip showed that Changsha ranked 4th among the top 10 most popular destinations for the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. It ranked 3rd among the top 10 most popular Chinese cities for the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, according to a list released by a Chinese website Mafengwo.

Changsha's 71 A-level scenic spots saw 749,308 tourist trips during the three-day holiday. Among them, the top three were Lushan Scenic Area, Orange Isle Scenic Area and Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town, receiving 129,399, 77,192, and 60,935 tourist trips respectively. Citizens and tourists traveled in a civilized way, and the scenic areas and cultural markets were in good order.
